Giải thích: Bài yêu cầu điền tối đa 2 từ, nên các em chú ý nghe kỹ từ khóa. Câu 3 có "Celtic festival celebrated in Ireland" gợi ý nguồn gốc cổ xưa (ancient). Câu 5 đối lập với lễ hội quốc tế nên là local festivals.
Bài 4 (WRITING – Discuss) – Other festivals in Viet Nam
Work in groups. Discuss the questions: What are some other festivals in the world celebrated in Viet Nam? Why are they popular?

Write an opinion essay (180 words) on the following topic: Nowadays, more and more young Vietnamese people celebrate festivals such as Christmas and Halloween. Some people think there is nothing wrong with this while others are worried about the influence of foreign cultures. What is your opinion?

Nowadays, more and more young Vietnamese people celebrate foreign festivals such as Christmas and Halloween. In my opinion, this trend has more positive impacts than negative ones on young Vietnamese people. Firstly, celebrating world festivals helps young people learn about different cultures around the world. By taking part in these events, they gain a broader view and develop respect for cultural diversity. Secondly, these festivals bring a lot of fun, happiness, and joy. They also encourage extracurricular activities, such as making costumes or organising parties, which help students relax after stressful study hours. However, there are some concerns. Some young people may spend too much money on things they don't really need, like costumes or decorations. Others worry that this trend could make people gradually ignore traditional local festivals. In conclusion, I firmly believe that celebrating foreign festivals is not a bad thing as long as young people keep a balance. They should enjoy world festivals while still preserving and valuing their own cultural traditions.
