Bài 1: Đọc mô tả công việc và viết tính từ mô tả tính chất công việc

Đề: Read the descriptions of the following jobs. What do you think about each job? Write the adjectives that describe the nature of the job in the table. Use the words in the box to help you.

In our group, the most common adjective for a teaching assistant is "rewarding". Most of us like the event volunteer job because we can meet new people and help the community. The job we dislike most is babysitter, because it can be stressful and tiring.

Bài 1: Chọn nghĩa đúng của từ/cụm từ gạch chân

Đề: Choose the correct meanings of the underlined words and phrases.

1. I hope the job will not interfere with my performance at school.

• A. prevent something from succeeding

✅ Đáp án: A
Giải thích: "interfere with" = cản trở, làm ảnh hưởng xấu đến điều gì. Câu nghĩa là "Tôi hy vọng công việc sẽ không cản trở việc học của tôi". Nghĩa A khớp.

2. The server was standing next to our table, ready to take our order.

✅ Đáp án: B

For example, good communication helps in sales, teaching, or any job that deals with people. A good memory is useful for almost every job, and being friendly is important for customer service roles like a shop assistant or a receptionist.
