Gợi ý trả lời:

• I think it is a good hobby because it helps children become more creative and patient. (Mình nghĩ đây là sở thích tốt vì nó giúp trẻ sáng tạo và kiên nhẫn hơn.)

Bài 2 (Listening): Listen and fill in the mind map

"Listen to an interview about Trang's hobby. Fill in each blank in the mind map with ONE word or number."

Đáp án (Trang's hobby):

Giải thích nhanh: Trang thích làm nhà búp bê, bắt đầu cách đây 2 năm, chơi cùng chị/em gái. Bạn cần bìa cứng (cardboard) và keo (glue) để làm nhà và đồ nội thất, cần vải (cloth) để làm búp bê. Nhờ vậy bạn trở nên kiên nhẫn và sáng tạo hơn.

Bài viết mẫu (~70 từ):

My hobby is reading books. I started it three years ago. I usually share my hobby with my best friend, Lan. To do my hobby, I just need some interesting books and a quiet place to sit. Reading is a wonderful hobby because I can learn many new things from books. It also helps me improve my vocabulary and become more imaginative. I really love reading in my free time.

Giải thích: Mỗi câu mô tả một hoạt động → suy ra tên sở thích tương ứng (sưu tầm tiền xu, tập judo, làm mô hình, làm vườn, đá bóng).

Bài 2 (Vocabulary): Write true sentences about you and your family

"Write true sentences about you and your family members."

Phần này em viết theo thật của gia đình mình. Gợi ý mẫu:

1. I like reading comic books.
2. My dad enjoys playing chess.
3. My mum doesn't like watching football.
4. My grandmother loves gardening.
5. My grandfather hates playing video games.

Lưu ý ngữ pháp: sau like/enjoy/love/hate + V-ing (động từ thêm -ing).

Bài 3 (Grammar): Present simple form

"Use the present simple form of each verb to complete the passage."

Đáp án:

1. love → loves (chủ ngữ Mi = she)
2. have → has (Mark = he)
3. enjoy → enjoys (He)
4. not like → don't like (I)
5. be → is (there is one hobby – số ít)
6. be → is (It)
7. go → go (We)
8. begin → begins (Our class – số ít)

Giải thích: Thì hiện tại đơn. Chủ ngữ số ít ngôi thứ ba (he/she/it/danh từ số ít) thì động từ thêm -s/-es. Chủ ngữ I/we/they giữ nguyên động từ; phủ định I dùng don't.

• Câu hỏi: Does this river run through my home town?
• Phủ định: This river doesn't run through my home town.

1. My drawing class starts at 8 a.m. every Sunday.

• Does my drawing class start at 8 a.m. every Sunday?
• My drawing class doesn't start at 8 a.m. every Sunday.

1. They enjoy collecting stamps.

• Do they enjoy collecting stamps?
• They don't enjoy collecting stamps.

1. I do judo every Tuesday.

• Do you do judo every Tuesday?
• I don't do judo every Tuesday.

1. My brother loves making model cars.

• Does your brother love making model cars?
• My brother doesn't love making model cars.

Giải thích: Với thì hiện tại đơn, mượn trợ động từ do/does để tạo câu hỏi và phủ định. Chủ ngữ số ít ngôi 3 dùng does/doesn't, khi đó động từ chính trở về nguyên mẫu (runs → run, starts → start, loves → love).
