Tom: I'm calling to make a complaint about the SMART backpack I ordered from you last week. I got it this morning, and it's smaller than the one you advertised online. Trang: Well... Let me check it. Tom: And I'm not happy with the colour, either. In your picture it's dark brown, and this one is yellowish brown. Trang: I'm sorry about that. I'll send you another one.

Dịch nhanh:

My favourite shopping place is the convenience store near my house. I like it because it's open 24 hours, so I can buy things any time I want. It's also clean and tidy, and the staff are very friendly. It saves me a lot of time when I need something quickly.

Dịch: Nơi mua sắm yêu thích của mình là cửa hàng tiện lợi gần nhà. Mình thích nó vì mở cửa 24 giờ nên mua đồ lúc nào cũng được. Cửa hàng sạch sẽ, gọn gàng và nhân viên thân thiện. Nó giúp mình tiết kiệm thời gian khi cần mua nhanh.

Dịch ý chính:

Trung tâm thương mại thu hút rất nhiều khách, nhất là cuối tuần, ngày lễ hoặc khi có khuyến mãi. Người ta đến đó để mua sắm vì có nhiều loại hàng hóa để lựa chọn. Khách có thể chạm vào sản phẩm, thử quần áo và giày dép, nên cảm thấy yên tâm hơn khi mua. Tuy nhiên, người ta còn đến vì nhiều lý do khác: để giải trí (nhạc sống, biểu diễn đặc biệt miễn phí quanh năm), để ngắm trang trí dịp lễ, để đi chơi với bạn bè, để đi bộ tập thể dục trong không gian sạch sẽ và có ánh sáng tốt. Một số người đến để tránh nóng hay lạnh vì trung tâm có điều hòa và sưởi miễn phí.
